Eric Mackay is a highly respected executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of expertise in the music industry, where he has consistently championed creators’ rights and diversity through innovative ventures. He is the founder of multiple music and music technology businesses, reflecting his forward-thinking approach and deep commitment to supporting the creative community.

Throughout his career, Eric has held influential roles with top music industry organisations, including EVP Global Digital Strategy at Warner Chappell Music Publishing, VP International Business Affairs & Business Development at VEVO, as well as positions at EMI Music Publishing/CELAS, PRS for Music, White Noise Records and Integral Management.

At Warner Chappell Music Publishing, he led transformative global digital initiatives and strategic partnerships that maximised songwriter value in the digital age. His work at VEVO shaped international video strategy, while his roles at CELAS and PRS for Music underscored his dedication to protecting and managing vast songwriter catalogues. Beginning his career as the day-to-day manager for the popular UK girl group Atomic Kitten, Eric was instrumental in their global success, contributing to over 14 million record sales.

His academic accomplishments include an LLM with Distinction in Entertainment Law from the University of Westminster, which solidified his expertise in the legal and business intricacies of the entertainment industry.
